The livestock-focused event is set to take place from March 27 to 28 this year.
Originally known as the Karoonda Sheep Fair back in 1985, the Karoonda Farm Fair has not lost its main focus – sheep and livestock but with plenty more on offer including lifestyle exhibits, exquisite local produce, financial services and more.
The event aims to celebrate and promote all that South Australia’s Murraylands region has to offer, with proceeds from the field days going back into the local community.
Over 350 exhibitors and 12,000 visitors descend upon the event each year. Some of the programs and entertainment patrons can look forward to each year include the Karoonda State Yard Dog Championship, Speed and Sports Shearing, a yester year display and a Healthy Murraylands cooking demonstration.
