Ballarat Tractors appointed new Midwest Fabrication dealer

Customers in the Ballarat region can now purchase draper platforms by Midwest Fabrication from ag-machinery dealership Ballarat Tractors as part of a new distribution deal between the two companies.

Ballarat Tractors branch manager Sam Risbey says the addition of the new platforms will help the business service the agricultural sector in the region more efficiently.

“As well as providing service and support to existing Midwest customers in this area, the addition of Midwest Fabrication to our business is to provide wide draper platforms for not only New Holland combines and windrow tractors, but also all other brands as well,” he says.

“Midwest currently has a new wide 18.3m/60ft draper platform operating this year, and it has captured a lot of interest in the market already.

“That size may be a little big in our area, but they do have platforms down to 25ft that can be mounted to front linkage of tractors for windrowing, self-propelled windrowers for swathing, platforms for direct cutting cereal crops for self-propelled forager harvesters, or harvest and windrow/harvest platforms for combine harvesters.”

Risbey adds the dealership will be able to provide sales, parts and service support for its Midwest customers through the harvest season.

Midwest Fabrications COO Bernie Allport welcomes Ballarat Tractors to its growing national dealer network.

“Ballarat Tractors has a great reputation for the customer support they have for their products,” he says.

“Sam and his team are looking forward to growing and supporting the sales of Midwest products in western and southern Victoria, especially at this critical harvest time of the year.”

Dalby based Midwest Fabrications has been an expert in the development and manufacture of draper platforms for over 14 years.
