Mahindra rolls out new 9500 tractor

Following the success of its larger capacity 8000 and 9200 tractors, Mahindra has recently launched the new 9500 model built on the company’s predecessor models.

Featuring all of Mahindra’s trusted features and more, the new tractor is expected to raise the company’s standards even higher.

Several key updates and features of the machine include:

  • Twin remotes instead of the previous single
  • Lower linkage
  • Increased lift capacity from 1800kg to 2500kg
  • Single lever PTO engagement
  • Easier access to battery and fuel for maintenance
  • Upgraded seat for better comfort
  • Excellent torque of 1200rpm

According to Mahindra Australia Marketing Manager James Halliwell, the new model offers farmers a great, significantly cheaper alternative to a higher end tractor.

“With our machine there is no complex electronics and no computer, it’s fully mechanical and that means better serviceability in the bush- without a laptop!” Halliwell says.

“Mahindra Australia has backup you can trust, we are a 100 per cent owned subsidiary of the factory and not a distributor.”

“Our dealers undergo factory training and we’ve been in Australia nine years now, and that strength of parts backup and factory support is important.”

One customer who has bought the 9500 tractor, Bill Rumbel from Dungog New South Wales, has so far been very pleased with his purchase.

“I use it for feeding out of the front end loader and carrying logs around the place to do yard repairs,” he says.

“It’s got heaps of power and I really like the way it gets the power to the ground.”

“It’s got a fair bit of weight so it seems to get in and pull where some tractors spin on top of the ground.”

The Mahindra 9500 tractor comes with a 3 year/2000 hour Powertrain warranty as standard.
