New Holland has announced the release of its new TT4 economy utility tractor range to replace its existing TT series.
The TT4 was built upon the success of the preceding TT range, which New Holland claims have revolutionised the economy tractor market when it was released in 2005.
Since its introduction, over 2,300 units from the TT series have been sold to customers nationwide.
The new TT4 range features various upgrades from its predecessor line-up including a brand new engine, tailored transmission, improved hydraulics and better design for optimal operator comfort.
The new series consists of three models – the TT4.55, TT4.65 and TT4.75 with powers ranging from 55 to 75 hp.
New Holland says the range offers excellent manoeuvrability, ergonomic comfort and fuel efficiency; allowing it to be used in a wide range of agricultural and non-agricultural tasks including front-end loader activities, hauling and PTO work.
The machines are powered by FPT Industrial’s S8000 turbocharged mechanical fuel injection engine which boasts two valves per cylinder and offers maximum torque of up to 300Nm. The engine uses Tier 3 technology to meet engine emissions standards.
A 540 eco PTO speed further enhances efficiency by allowing the engine to run at a lower working speed for reduced fuel consumption.
A new 12×12 transmission offering comes standard with the range and is enhanced with the addition of the dash mounted synchronised shuttle control. The dash mounted lever can be operated without removing the hand from the steering wheel, enhancing safety and improving loader producitivity.,
An optional 20×20 creeper transmission is available for specialist activities and precision applications.
In regards to the hydraulics, the dedicated implement pump offers an impressive 52Lpm to ensure optimum hydraulic performance for most applications including front loader and hay and forage applications.
The TT4 also carries New Holland’s AP Plus loaders specifically developed for the series. Designed for Australian conditions, the loaders’ durable performance and solid construction allows operators to handle bigger tasks for longer periods.
Other key design features include:
- Mechanical level lift system to offer protection to the operator against any possible “rollback”
- ROPS platform with specific trim, fenders and noise protection for operator comfort. A canopy for the ROPS frame also comes standard with the range.
- Striking design reminiscent of the award winning T7 range. Key New Holland styling cues such as the signature sloping nose, distinctive front hood lights and oval front and rear work lights have been integrated into the overall design.
