EVENT: Henty Machinery Field Days 2014

Australia’s premier mixed farming event Henty Machinery Field Days is set to make a comeback this year from September 23 to 25.

Last year, the event celebrated its 50th anniversary with a range of historical displays and memorabilia and managed to attract around 60,000 visitors over the three days.

This year, the event will return bigger than ever with a wide range of not just farm machinery but also camping products, farm produce, as well as financial and health services on offer.

A highlight this year will be the agronomy plots which will feature a variety of grain crops such as cereal, oilseed and pulse. The feature, which was absent from last year’s event, will allow grain growers to explore new varieties, inspect fertiliser, inoculant, fungicide or foliar application comparisons.

The not-for-profit event will also feature a number of awards such as the “Henty Machine of the Year” award and the “Tractor and Machinery Association of Australia (TMA) Machine of the Year” award being handed out to the best and most innovative pieces of equipment at the show.
