New Polaris 2015 Ranger 570 HD ‘redesigned with Australia in mind’

Polaris has lifted the lid on its brand new Model Year 2015 Ranger 570 HD side-by-side which the company says has been developed following increasing demands from Australian farmers.

A significant addition to the existing Polaris Ranger 570 is the Heavy Duty spec (HD) to provide maximum durability for harsh working conditions.

An engine braking system with 4-wheel descent control (4WDC) has been added to provide optimum control and traction when descending slopes.  The 4WDC is the same system that has been installed in the Polaris Ute ATV released in Australia earlier this year.

The 2015 Polaris Ranger 570 HD carries a number of heavy duty features such as a HD sway bar, upgraded rear driveshaft and grease fittings as standard for increased durability and ease of maintenance.

Further upgrades for 2015 over the previous Ranger 570 model, according to Polaris, include a standard Electronic Power Steering (EPS), 10 per cent more engine power, enhanced styling, increased Lock & Ride accessory compatibility, increased suspension travel and greater cab comfort.

Polaris has also upped the safety aspect by offering seatbelt interlock and Speed Key compatibility options. The seatbelt interlock operates by limiting the top speed of the vehicle to 24km/h when the seatbelt is not engaged, while the Speed Key is a separate key to the vehicle which limits the top speed to 40km/h.

The Ranger 570 HD is powered by a 567cc fuel-injected ProStar engine offering 44hp. It also features Polaris’ On-Demand True All-Wheel Drive including Turf Mode, Macpherson strut front and independent rear suspension with 22.9cm and 25.4cm travel respectively.

Other specs include a 25.4cm ground clearance, 680kg towing capacity, 227kg rear dump box capacity and 34.1L fuel capacity.

The 2015 Ranger 570 HD will be arriving in Australia in early December and will come in a Sunset Red colour.
