This follows the successful launch of the shuttle shift F42R model late last year.

A key feature on the new F42H is its automatic hydrostatic transmission which according to Australian distributor Midway Sales’ director Scott Spring-Brown is a very popular feature with customers.

“This means that the individual foot operation pedals to control forward/reverse direction automatically adjusts engines revs to the working conditions,” he says.

“This is a safe, user friendly fuel saving function that puts Branson tractors ahead of the pack.”

Apart from its auto HST, the F42H’s size also makes it a winner with farmers, Brown adds.

“This size compact tractor is a very handy all-rounder,” he says.

“It is small enough to take on tight work in vineyards, orchards and lifestyle properties yet grunty enough to tackle some of those bigger jobs with a very capable 4-in-1 front end loader.”

The new model’s front axles, along with all other Branson tractors’ are four-wheel drive and are designed with a dual power direction, hydrostatic, steering cylinder instead of a steering drag link.

Branson says this enables tight turns and low steering effort; as well as a more uniform front tyre wear.

All Branson tractors come with a front end loader featuring a single joystick operation 4-in-1 bucket and self-levelling functionality with a lifting capacity of 330kg, allowing operators to carry out a wide range of tasks including blade, level, grab and scoop.

A high back and wide suspension operator’s seat provides optimum comfort for the driver while wet disc brakes, a standard feature on all Branson tractors allow for a safe, reliable drive.

Under the bonnet is Branson’s own engine which it designed specifically for a quieter operation and lower fuel consumption. Its long stroke design produces maximum torque at a lower operating speed.

The F42H features a dual pump hydraulic design which provides 18l/m to the steering system and 33.5l/m to the loader and other hydraulic functions. Dual hydraulic remotes are included.

Independent 2 speed PTO comes standard on all Branson’s F Series Tractors. A 540 “E” PTO function lets the engine run 25 per cent slower for a quieter, more fuel efficient operation in light operating conditions, such as mowing and spraying.

In heavy duty conditions, operators simply move the selector lever to standard mode and increase the engine revs for more power.

The Category I hitch has a lift capacity of 1500kg at the ball end.

Branson says its tractors are built to last and feature mudguards and bonnets that have been powder coated for durability.

The Branson F42H tractor is priced at $30,990 (including 4-in-1 front end loader) and comes with a four year warranty.
