Awards in each category are presented to model/series projected to retain the highest percentage of its original value after a five-year period, based on EquipmentWatch market activity data.

Case IH was one of the few companies to take home multiple awards.

This recognition is a testament to Case IH’s quality and performance, Case IH high horsepower tractor product manager for Australia/New Zealand Alyx Selsmeyer says.

“Steigers have always been popular across our local market and this award underlines the overall performance and reliability that producers have come to expect,” she says.

The Steiger series came out on top for the tractors in the track category, a category which included the Challenger MT800, John Deere 8RT and 9RT as well as the Challenger MT700.

The Corn Head 4400 series was successful in the corn headers category – a new addition this year – taking the chocolates over the Drago Series II, John Deere 600C and 700C and the Gleaner 3000.

The awards recognise manufacturers in 30 equipment categories spanning the construction, agriculture and lift/access manufacturing sectors, and this year EquipmentWatch analysts considered more than 12,000 models with up to 20 model years of values to determine category finalists.
