Ahern showcases range during AgQuip

Ahern Australia attended this year’s AgQuip in Gunnedah, showcasing products across the Faresin and Ausa ranges.

Ahern Australia has been servicing the equipment industry since 1989 and is today part of the global Ahern family of companies.

In January 2022, Ahern Australia was appointed as the Australian distributor for Faresin Industries agricultural products.

The company is now the sole importer of Faresin feed mixer wagons and agricultural telehandlers, along with associated spare parts and attachments.

In the same year, Ahern Australia signed an agreement with Ausa, the manufacturer of compact all-terrain industrial vehicles. It now distributes Ausa site dumpers, all-terrain forklifts and telehandlers from its four branches and 20 national dealers.

Ahern Australia also attended this year’s AgQuip in Gunnedah.

Equipment on display was the Faresin PF1.11 and PF2.20B trailed mixers, with Faresin 9.30HLS and 6.26 telehandlers. Ausa products on display included the C251H and C501H rough terrain forklifts and the D601APG dumper.

Designed for small to medium farms and for rations rich in silage, the Faresin Trailed PF1.11 mixer consists of a robust frame capable of handling heavy quantities of product and four load cells for precise weighing in all conditions.

As standard, it comes with a front belt for unloading in both directions and a two-speed mechanical gearbox to allow different mixing speeds depending on the type of food.

As part of the line of PF trailed mixing tubs, the Faresin PF2.20B Trailed Mixer has a front-mounted conveyer with a 1250mm long discharge elevator providing rapid product flow from the mixing tub to the feeder.

The 900mm wide ‘honeycomb’ elevator belt is adjustable for optimal batching of the mix and can be set to eight different height positions.

The Faresin 9.30HLS Telehandler is part of the compact range.

Thanks to their reduced size, the compact range of telehandlers can work in tight spaces with ease and reach heights from 7m to 9m with a maximum capacity of 3,000kg.

The SR626 is the compact powerhouse of the group with a 5.79m maximum lift height and a lifting capacity of 2,600kg. Its stowed height is a mere 1.93m and its weight of 4,700kg makes it the lightest of the Faresin telehandler line.

Ausa’s range of all-terrain forklifts is designed and manufactured to be compact, powerful, and versatile. With a payload of 5,000kg and maximum lift height of up to 5,450mm, the C501H is an ideal forklift for handling large loads on uneven terrain with 35 per cent gradeability.

This forklift is equipped with innovative fuel saving and CO2 emission reduction systems to deliver high value at lower costs.

The most advanced and easiest to maintain in its class, the Ausa C251H forklift offers a full 2.5-tonne payload.

Great for urban applications such as parking lots and closed areas with low doors, this forklift also provides four-wheel drive on demand to easily cope with the most challenging work site terrain.

The Ausa D601APG dumper is easy to maintain, with all the major components designed and arranged specifically to keep downtime to a minimum. It can optionally be equipped with Smart Stop, which turns off the engine when not in use to reduce fuel consumption, maintaining low CO2 emissions.

The D601APG is equipped with a 180-degree swing skip with a 6-tonne payload and the 4-speed torque converter transmission ensures the fast delivery of power and speed.

A colour digital display is built into the driver’s console, providing real-time information about the machine including ground speed, engine RPM, fluid levels and alarms.
