Case IH dealer grabs two more Victorian locations

Australia’s largest Case IH dealer has acquired two more Victorian locations, expanding its national footprint from 10 to 12 dealerships.

O’Connors has purchased the Agrimac locations in Ballarat and St Arnaud and the company’s chief executive officer Gareth Webb says the sites are a perfect fit for O’Connors’ expansion.

“The acquisition of the Agrimac Case IH dealerships is a great opportunity to extend our footprint into a diverse agricultural region, combining our experience with the knowledge that is already in the Ballarat and St Arnaud business,” he says.

“O’Connors is looking forward to the challenge of entering a new market and we are excited to be able to bring the region the strength and customer benefits a larger dealership network provides.

“For 57 years O’Connors has built a reputation for delivering exceptional support to customers, with unrivalled expertise and with parts and service departments backed by our extensive branch network.

“We’re looking forward to bringing these benefits to our new customers and ensuring uninterrupted support during the transition.”

It is the first expansion for O’Connors since moving into the central-west region of New South Wales during 2018 and 2019.

Ballarat and St Arnaud will join Birchip, Warracknabeal, Horsham, Shepparton, Bordertown, Corowa, West Wyalong, Condobolin, Forbes and Grenfell in the O’Connors family.

The deal with Agrimac is expected to be finalised by June 1.

Current Agrimac dealer principal Hugh McEachern will continue to own and operate Agrimac’s branches in Warrnambool and Hamilton.
