Dieci’s dedicated agricultural telehandler is built for stability, with features sure to impress
Dieci’s Agri Plus 40.7 telehandler aims to provide the features operators require most: reliability, performance and comfort.
The specifications of the 40.7 show it is built for the harsh Australian environment, providing the operator with the strength, durability and flexibility of a multi-purpose machine.
Powered by a 125hp (93kW) Tier 3 FPT engine, the Agri Plus 40.7 has a 4,000kg lift capacity, maximum lift height of 7.00m, forward reach of 3.9m and maximum travel speed of 40km/h.
Beyond its list of impressive numbers, it is while using the telehandler that some of its advantages become clear.
One particularly desirable aspect is the cabin, which Dieci says has been compared by operators to a tractor cabin in terms of its generous size.
A large door makes access easy and, once inside, operators can enjoy excellent all-round visibility, plus plenty of light and fresh air thanks to a sunroof and large electric window on the door.
There is also air conditioning, a four-in-one joystick and easily accessed controls for the wide range of features offered by the Agri Plus.
Crucially, the raised seating position provides excellent visibility of the boom.
The boom can be lifted to its full height in 6.6 seconds and dropped back down in just 3.9 seconds, thanks to the telehandler’s hydraulic pump, which can manage 210 litres per minute.
Another feature of the boom is that it slips between two steel uprights when lowered.
These are buffered by neoprene wear pads attached to the boom and means a reduction in both side stress and sway.
The Agri Plus 40.7 has also been designed for versatility and has three steering modes, namely single front axle turning, all wheel steer, or crab steer.
Versatility is further provided by the ability to work in tight spaces, with a turning radius of just 7.52m, plus an oscillation system that increases the headstock’s operation angle to 146 degrees.
Safety is also at the forefront.
All Dieci machines are fitted with a load-limiting device, which analyses data that measures the stability of the machine and automatically stops all compromising movements if the preset limit is reached.
Building all its machines at its base in Italy, Dieci conducts significant testing on all its machines to ensure they are defect-free and ready to be used.
Before coming to Australia, every Agri Plus 40.7 is rigorously tested on a specially equipped test track, while every aspect of the machine – including optional extras and specific customer requests – is inspected and verified under operating conditions.
Weighing in at 7,700kg, the Agri Plus 40.7 is a robust telehandler designed for power and reliability.
Dieci products are available in Australia through the Dieci Australia dealer network.
