Located in the Central Wheatbelt district of Western Australia, the Dowerin Machinery Field Days is classed as one of the three largest agricultural machinery events in the country.
The event, which has been running for 52 years, attracted a record 770 exhibitors in 2016 and attracted over 25,500 to the small community of Dowerin, which lies 156km north east of Perth.
“Exhibitors range from manufacturers and distributors of farm machinery and allied equipment, rural services, information technology to lifestyle and leisure products and services,” say the organisers at the community-owned Dowerin Events Management.
“The Dowerin Field Days are a valuable shop window to the farming community.”
In 2016 the committee introduced an Equestrian Exhibit, which included a wide range of equestrian businesses from all over the state, as well as indoor and outdoor displays and demonstrations.
