The two-day National Farmers’ Federation (NFF) Congress 2016 gets underway at the Australian Institute of Sport Arena in Canberra on October 26.
The NFF Congress will feature a range of speakers from across agriculture, politics, the food supply chain, climate research, business technology and innovation.
Speakers include deputy prime minister Barnaby Joyce, senators Derryn Hinch, Richard Di Natale and Bridget McKenzie, shadow minister for agriculture, Joel Fitzgibbon, shadow assistant treasurer Andrew Leigh and leading businessmen Anthony Pratt and Andrew Forrest.
The focus of the event will be on how to make the most of the opportunities that are being driven by unprecedented demand for agricultural products.
