East Gippsland Field Days 2013

Now in its 27th year, the East Gippsland Field Days is one of the most iconic events in the East Gippsland Shire.

The event was held from April 19-20 and we were there to capture
some of the action for you.

Over 220 exhibitors, for example businesses in the farming,
recreational, education and arts & craft sectors were on site
to showcase their wares.

There was a massive range of products out on display at the
stands, ranging from large farming machinery to animals and from
RVs to home-made products eg conserves, jewellery, candles etc.

Not missing from the event program were shows and demos to keep
visitors entertained.  Some of the highlights include the
Australian Travelling Fishing Show, the Jump ‘n’ Cuddle Animal Farm
and a stripped down Royal Flying Doctor Service airplane.

Despite the sub-par weather, there was not a lack of visitors at
the field days whether it be families having a quality weekend out
or farming professionals on the hunt for new products on the
market.

We have filmed some videos for you from our day out so stay
tuned.
