Leading Victorian agricultural event Elmore Field Days will be held from October 7 to 9 this year.
The event celebrated its half-a-century milestone last year and featured a range of special displays and events including vintage tractor parades, the release of a special commemoration publication and a special appearance by Victorian Premier Denis Napthine.
Over 600 exhibitors signed up for last year’s show with visitor numbers hitting the 40,000 mark.
This year, the show will feature a new food and wine pavilion to showcase the exquisite produce that the Elmore region and Victoria has to offer. Visitors can expect to see, taste and buy homemade products such as jams, cheeses, wine, sauces, meat and juices.
The field days also acknowledges innovation in machinery technology as well as exhibitor site layout by handing out awards such as Best Overall Exhibit, Elmore Machine of the Year and Telstra’s Technology & Innovation award.
There will be a number of demonstrations and competitions such as an Ag Art Wear competition and In Paddock Demonstrations to showcase a wide variety of machinery.
