Held every two years, the Rotary FNQ field days will make a return this year from May 27 to 28.
The field days, dubbed “Far North Queensland’s largest field days” will be held at the Mareeba Rodeo Grounds and will feature a whopping 400 sites.
Hosted by the Atherton and Mareeba Rotary Clubs, the event aims to raise funds for the local community, with all proceeds going to charities and community organizations in the Atherton Tablelands area.
In addition to the usual tractor displays and market stalls that are a staple of field days, the Rotary FNQ field days also feature several adrenaline pumping events including a tractor pull, a remote control car show and helicopter sightseeing flights.
Some other items visitors can look forward to at the show include an inventors contest, an agricultural drone demonstration, a horsemanship clinic, art union draw and more.
