EVENT: Farm World 2016

The 54th Farm World field days in Warragul, Victoria will take place this year from April 7 to 10.

The event is known to be one of Victoria’s leading rural agricultural event and will this year introduce its inaugural Farm World Equestrian Expo at the recently constructed Baw Baw Equestrian Centre.

It will feature a range of stalls, dressage, events and master classes dedicated to the sport. A range of equestrian competitions will also be held over the course of the event, covering a range of competency levels including HRCAV and EA.

Don’t miss the ultimate “Farm World Cup” jumping competition on the final day – Sunday April 10.

Every year, Farm World hosts over 700 agricultural businesses in one spot, which is the Lardner Park Events centre in Warragul, Victoria.

More than 50,000 people visit the event every year, all keen to check out the latest farming innovations.

In addition to inspecting the machinery at their stands, visitors will also be able to see some of the machines in action at Farm World’s dedicated demonstration area.

Returning this year is the popular Women in Agriculture Luncheon celebrating the vital role women play in the farming industry. Past speakers have included Margaret Jackson, Sue Pieters-Hawke and Dame Quentin Bryce.

Other special events in store for visitors at Farm World 2016 include an Agribusiness Luncheon and a Young Farmers Conference which visitors will need to book in advance for.

For the younger members of the family, there will be an animal nursery where they can interact with pigs, calves, ducks, dogs, ponies; even pythons, lizards and marsupials.
