This year's huge Agritechnica expo in Germany is set to attract 400,000 visitors from November 12 to 18.

This year more than 2800 exhibitors from 53 countries will present their farming innovations and developments at the Hanover Fairgrounds show.

Under the theme ‘Green Future – Smart Technology,’ Agritechnica will present the latest technologies and trends that help increase agricultural productivity, but more sustainably.

With farmers always aspiring to be more efficient the show will highlight the latest developments in the field of crop protection, including drones and robots, forecasting models, nozzle technology, mechanical plant protection technology and GPS controls.

And for the sixth time, Agritechnica will hold ‘Workshop Live’ where agricultural and construction machinery mechanics of all levels (apprentice, service technician and master craftsman) will offer practical demonstrations each hour.

Geared toward students aged 14–16 with a keen interest in skilled trades, this program presents an excellent information-gathering opportunity. After each 30-minute presentation, visitors will have an opportunity to speak directly with the demonstrators.

Whatever your interest is in farm machinery or technology, Agritechnica is sure to have it covered – and so will TradeFarmMachinery.com.au, with our on-the-ground reports from Germany.
