BTS21 Cutting edge parts and accessories

From Australian-made pressure cleaners to German-built lifting and testing equipment, there will be a range of innovative parts and accessories to browse through this year

The gong is all set to sound in the 2021 Brisbane Truck Show. There may be more health and safety guidelines in place this year but spirits are high, with a long list of parts and accessories businesses looking forward to the opportunity to connect with visitors and talk about their latest offerings.

Many parts and accessories business managers that we have spoken to agree that, although Covid-19 created some uncertainty within the industry last year, particularly around March and April, from May onwards the industry rallied and there was a significant increase in demand for safer parts and more efficient equipment.

Here, we take a look at what to expect at some of the stands this year.

FINDLAY IMPORT & TRADE

Stand 15 Foyer

Findlay will be showcasing many of its 20+ brands of tyres and other products, including a wide range of steel and alloy wheels, tyre-fitting machines and those essential tools to change, fit and repair tyres.

“The road to controlling wheel and tyre costs, to make money in road transport, is littered with obstacles, including sub-standard products, pricing that’s out of control and service that’s more rhetoric than fact,” Findlay Import & Trade director Neil Findlay says.

“We at Findlay’s have 50 years’ experience in the trucking industry – as successful fleet operators for most of those years through good times and bad – which taught us a lot. Whether you’re an owner-driver or a national fleet operator, we have you covered.”

The company is also offering a promotion for Brisbane Truck Show visitors.

“See us at the Brisbane Truck Show and share in our Fun Escapes promotion. Just buy $4,000 of anything and receive a five-day, four-night holiday voucher for a luxury resort,” Findlay says.

“Both of these have a substantial return on investment, something that the industry is hungry to find. This is particularly so with wheel alignment as you can make significant savings in fuel and tyre wear, as well as driver fatigue.
