The property spans 145ha in three freehold lots – 1 x 85a and 2 x 30ha. Local estate agent Elders Toowoomba describes it as a very well balanced property with country running from superb, soft, high-yielding cropping country through to elevated dark brown to red grazing country ideal for cattle or horse training.

In terms of farm amenities the property has a number of cattle yards of various sizes, with a total capacity of around 200 head. The yards are fitted with a Leicht Industries immobiliser squeeze crush and have good truck access.

Around 89ha of the farm are currently used for cash crops including sorghum, wheat, barley, hay production and cattle feed crops.

As for water at Enterprise, there are two equipped bores on the property. The first is an electric submersible bore at 27m and another windmill-powered bore at 25m. There is also a large stock dam and one smaller dam on site. Enterprise has an irrigation licence of 42 megalitres.

The homestead is a GJ Gardner four-bedroom brick veneer house situated on an elevated setting at the entrance to the property. The home’s large living areas are fitted with a reverse-cycle air-conditioner and wood combustion heater. The kitchen is also equipped with an as-new stove and dishwasher.

There are a number of other buildings on the estate including a large (18m x 12m) lockable machinery shed, three smaller (12m x 9m) sheds, a three-car carriage with concrete floors and roller door, a feed barn with attached eight-tonne silo plus two additional grain storage silos.

Enterprise is set to go to auction at Picnic Point Toowoomba at 11am on Thursday, February 22.
