Early-bird discounts on Inlon’s range of wheeled hay rakes are on the table for lucerne growers and contractors ahead of the fast-approaching hay season.
Inlon has promised 20 per cent off the recommended retail price of its Sitrex Pro 17 and 19 V-wheeled hay rakes, through to the end of November or while stocks last.
Both models have large raking wheels that angle back at around 70 degrees, providing more lift to windrow crops in the field.
The Sitrex Pro series hay rakes are quiet machines, with Inlon saying they can deliver clean pick-up with minimal dust and can operate smoothly across seed-drilled plant lines for improved raking and machine lift.
The unique, uneven number of wheels on each side of the hay rakes is designed to prevent clumping and thus the need for a central kicker wheel.
The short side pulls the crop into the windrow while the long side then transfers the crop back to combine and complete the windrow.
Wheel covers protect crops from the wind while also reducing crop friction to flow into the windrow more effectively. Tines are fitted inside of a flexible rubber mount to provide soft handling of crops.
All adjustments can be performed whilst operating using the electro-hydraulic control panel.
The Pro 17 hay rake, which features a maximum working width of 9.6m (31.6ft), is fast and efficient and is capable of raking around 15 hectares per hour. The rake is suitable for all types of crops and leaves a square, uniform windrow and can run behind a utility.
