Ag Leader system puts users in command

Ag Leader's display system provides a host of data to users

Ag Leader’s InCommand 1200 display provides ‘all in one’ control of guidance, steering, planting, spraying, spreading and yield monitoring as well as showing relevant information to support on-the-go decision making.

The InCommand display screen is designed for ease of use

Ag Leader Asia Pacific Sales Manager Doug Amos says the high visibility display offers a number of benefits.

“Certainly, it is one of the biggest screens available, but more importantly you can clearly see it in bright sunlight without being blinded while working at night,” he says.

“You only have to put it beside your existing display or tablet and you can see the difference.

“There are no buttons or knobs – just a simple touchscreen with swipe functionality.

“The intuitive wizards make it extremely easy to set up and get going.

“The split-screen capability allows you to compare historical coverage maps, for instance from seeding, against data from the current operation to make real-time decisions rather than waiting until you are back in the office.”

The InCommand 1200 features a 30cm high resolution, low-glare touchscreen and built-in lightbar guidance.

It also has four camera inputs, allowing the driver to maintain visibility of out-of-sight operations.

If necessary, the display can be easily moved between different machines or taken home for the night.

InCommand has been designed for ISOBUS compatibility

InCommand is ideal for use with Ag Leader’s SteerCommand guidance, SeedCommand planting, DirectCommand application and Yield Monitoring systems, although it can be used with any ISOBUS-compatible machine.

“Rather than having one terminal for each implement, InCommand controls the lot, from planting right through to harvest,” Amos says.

“InCommand is a ‘one stop shop’ for tractor guidance, implement control and monitoring, automatic row or section control, variable rate application, application logging and yield monitoring.

“It gives you metre-by-metre, row-by-row accuracy and confidence you are applying exactly the amount of seed, fertiliser or crop protection product to a known position in the field.

“Aside from reducing application costs, this level of accuracy can help to increase productivity and efficiency.

“Precision agriculture technology should help to make your life easier, not more complicated.”

The DisplayCast function connects all InCommand displays in your machinery fleet, regardless of their location.

“This function provides instantaneous access and sharing of a host of real-time information, including maps, guidance lines, application records and yield summaries,” Amos says.

The optional CartACE function automatically guides the chaser bin relative to the combine harvester for easy and efficient unloading.

Collected data can be easily exported from InCommand to Ag Leader’s free AgFiniti Mobile iPad app, or via the internet to the AgFiniti cloud-based data management platform.
