New sprayers added to Silvan’s range
Silvan has debuted a range of sprayers just in time for autumn, with new hand, trolley and trailed sprayers joining the line-up.
The largest unit in the new range is the 12V 200L Lightfoot Trailed Sprayer, which sprays at up to 7 litres per minute open flow at a maximum pressure of 8 bar or 120psi.
Able to be attached to an ATV, side-by-side or utility, the sprayer is equipped with a Smoothflo pulsation-free 12-volt DC electric pump that comes with an electric pressure sensing switch, which automatically starts it when the pressure falls and stops when it peaks.

It also comes with a PA spray gun with 500mm lance and a range of nozzles for distance and close spraying applications.
Starting at a price $2,300 including GST, optional extras on the unit include a brass boomless nozzle kit costing $199 and 30m long Eco Hose reel at $390.
Separately, a new Towbar Boomless Nozzle is available for UTVs and side by sides, with a spray width of up to 7.4m. Costing $249, it is compatible with a Hayman Reese towbar and requires a minimum of a 7 litres per minute flow to operate.
Further down the range, Silvan is selling a Rechargeable Trolley Sprayer with up to three 13 litre capacity tanks able to be used per charge before its lithium-ion battery requires recharging.
Costing $215, the sprayer comes with a wide wheelbase for maximum stability and manoeuvrability, a 2.5m hose, telescopic spray lance which extends from 800mm to 1150mm, and an adjustable nozzle that allows for a conical fine mist to a pencil straight stream for spraying applications over a distance.
An optional two nozzle T-bar boom costing $29 is available for this and other smaller sprayers, featuring a 40cm wide T-boom to achieve an 80cm wide spray swath when 40cm off the ground.

And on the smaller side of the range, Silvan’s new 1.5L Hand Sprayer comes with a thick-walled, heavy-duty tank and five-year warranty.
Costing $32, it also features long lasting chemical resistant seals and suitability for liquid and powder agricultural chemicals and disinfectant.
