VIDEO: Ford Ranger Wildtrak review

Is it a ute or is it a pickup? Regardless, technical journalist Matt Wood thinks the top-of-the-line Ford Ranger Wildtrak does a pretty darn good job on the farm.

Even though the auto bogs down in day to day traffic, the ute makes for a perfect workhorse out in the bush, off the asphalt.

Wood reviewed the 6-speed automatic version and we think while it takes up quite a bit of road, it was easy to live with around town for a few days.

With a 3.2 litre 5-cylinder Duratorq diesel engine producing an output of 147kW, the ute is clearly built to pull and carry.

Watch the video as Matt gives us a rundown of all the bells and whistles on the Ford Ranger Wildtrak and why he thinks it represents the future of Ford in Australia.
