The WA Agricultural Show Grant Program is designed to back the people and places that make these events possible
Applications have opened for the WA Agricultural Show Grant Program, which is offering grants of up to $10,000 to help organisations put on a show, support their volunteers, showcase local food and agriculture, and deliver activities for visitors.
Backed by $600,000 in funding, the program will support Royal Agricultural Society of WA (RASWA) affiliated societies and organisations across the state.
It is designed to back the people and places that make these events possible, from funding operational costs and volunteer programs, to introducing new attractions for visitors and investing in the upkeep and improvement of showground facilities.
Western Australia is home to around 60 agricultural shows, which are important events for local communities.
“These shows are woven into the fabric of many communities, bringing together thousands of volunteers, school groups and community organisations,” WA agriculture and food minister Jackie Jarvis says.
“Shows help attract visitors to our regions and communities, and shine the spotlight on our primary industries and the importance of this sector to WA.
“This funding will help deliver and enhance local shows in 2026, and help ensure our agricultural shows remain vibrant, welcoming and sustainable for generations to come.”
Applications are open to registered RASWA affiliates until June 30, 2026.
