Outstanding JCB dealers awarded

Leading JCB dealers from across Queensland and Northern New South Wales have been presented with JCB Commitment Awards during recent regional dealership conferences in Tamworth and Brisbane.

The winning dealerships were Redhead Machinery and WJ Matthews in NSW; and Wideland Group and Honeycombes Sales and Service in Queensland.

JCB Construction Equipment Australia’s National Dealer Manager Nick Fowler says the award winners earned the accolades by demonstrating values that are most important to JCB, which are exceptional product knowledge, technical expertise and genuine customer support.

“Their commitment to the brand and everything it stands for means they deliver a simply incomparable customer experience,” he says.

“We’re fortunate to have an exceptional JCB dealer network in Australia, and we’ve recently met with every one of our dealers to outline JCB’s global vision for the next five years.”

Fowler adds the company’s vision is an ambitious plan to dramatically increase market share by 2017.

“I’m very confident we’ll achieve our goal because we offer a combination of genuinely great products and genuinely great support,” he says.

JCB’s global theme for 2013 is leading by innovation, which refers to the innovative product range and how JCB operates as a company, which includes its service and backup.

“One of our recent moves to support our network and customers saw us dramatically increasing the capacity of our parts warehouses,” Fowler says.

“The capacity has almost doubled plus we make it easy for dealers to source parts from around the world so they can give customers the best results in the shortest time.”

Another exciting move by JCB recently, Fowler adds, is the launch of the JCB Hub which is an iPad-based tool that provides dealers with all the product information they need and also gives customers unique cab simulation experiences.

JCB says the regional meeting across Australia comes hot on the heels of a global dealership conference in the UK earlier this year.

“The Australian market presents unique and exciting opportunities for the coming years, and we’re very optimistic about the future,” Fowler says.

“We’re looking forward to sharing some exciting product news soon.”
