Slater will lead a team of seven, working from two locations at Midvale in Western Australia (WA) and at Jondaryan in Queensland.

The Jondaryan facility was required due to the continued growth of the company and the need for an additional branch to service the eastern states.

It is located halfway between Toowoomba and Dalby in the Darling Downs, and the new facility offers good access to all areas in Queensland and northern New South Wales.

Agrifac Australia’s Midvale branch has been operating for 12 months and is undergoing renovations to double the size of its office, parts and workshop facility, which should be complete by Christmas this year.

Salter is confident the sales of Agrifac Condor self-propelled sprayers will multiply in the years ahead.

“There are 20 Condor and Condor Endurance self-propelled sprayers running in Australia and another five Condors in New Zealand,” Salter says.

“We believe that we will at least double these numbers in the next 18 months and we want to be ready for our new customers.”

Next month is a busy one for field days around Australia and Agrifac Condor sprayers will be on display at the Mallee Machinery Field days at Speed in Victoria, at the Eyre Peninsula Field Days, and during AgQuip at Gunnedah in New South Wales.

Agrifac works with two Australian dealers — Burando Hill in WA,  and YP AG in South Australia — along with its service partners Josh Stoner Ag Diesel Repairs in Jondaryan for the eastern states, and  Julien Coles PTS AG in Esperance, WA.
