The event will be held in Kirchentellinsfurt, located about 30km south of Stuttgart, and pits the world’s best against each other using competition ploughing tractors to plough a half-acre plot of land over three hours.

Contestants are judged on many different aspects of ploughing including weed control, soil compactness and general appearance.

Loughridge is the current Australian ploughing champion and will compete using a tractor with a custom wheel setup and Trelleborg TM600 radial tyres from team sponsors Trelleborg. The company says these tyres are self-cleaning and provide outstanding traction and will give Brett an advantage when competing against the world’s best.

“The Australian ploughing team are grateful to Trelleborg Wheel Systems for sponsoring them for the fourth year and are pleased to be working with such an innovative company,” the team says.

Trelleborg agricultural tyres are available across Australia in a range of sizes from 15″ to 54″ with specialist patterns suited to a diverse number of working conditions.
