‘Controlled Environments’ will promote the latest greenhouses, system integrators, control systems and hydroponic, aquaponic and aeroponic systems, while ‘Precision Agriculture’ will cover everything from data analytics and modelling, to harvesting and irrigation equipment, as well as seeding/planting equipment and GPS systems.

One CMG Group (company behind GFIA In Focus) sales director David Stradling says the event is a rare opportunity to learn from food producers, policy makers and investors about the latest innovations and technologies for smart food production.

Multi-level indoor growing company Vertical Farm Systems will be present at GFIA In Focus Australia, showcasing their fully automated technology for growing commercial crops all year round. Also present will be the creators of the smart livestock ear tag, Ceres Tag.

CEO & development director David Smith is excited to showcase his product at the event: “This event delivers an unrivalled opportunity for us to meet thousands of potential buyers of sustainable agriculture technology,” he says. “I’m excited to exhibit at GFIA and raise awareness of our product to Australian graziers.”

Since 2014, GFIA events have welcomed over 25,000 visitors and worked with over 50 globally significant partners. “GFIA In Focus is intended to help Australian agri-businesses share knowledge, so we can continue to develop sustainable farming into the future,” Stradling says. “There are some incredibly innovative technologies and practices out there, and we’re excited to host what’s going to be an inspiring and highly informative event for attendees.”
