CNH brands help flood fundraiser

Two major agricultural machinery manufacturers have contributed a combined $50,000 to a national fundraiser for people affected by floods in New South Wales and Queensland.

Case IH and New Holland – both of which are under the CNH Industrial banner – have each donated $25,000 to a national fundraising event.

The televised event, which saw channels Seven, Nine and Ten combine with the Red Cross, raised more than $25 million for flood relief.

CNH Industrial Australia and New Zealand country manager Brandon Stannett says the donation was a way to acknowledge and help farmers and customers within the flood-affected regions of both states.

“We’ve all been shocked and saddened by the devastation in these regions and our hearts go out to those who have lost so much and are facing such difficult times ahead,” he says.

“Of course, farmers across these areas have recorded enormous losses, and for our Case IH and New Holland customers, the donations to this Red Cross appeal are a small way for us to offer some assistance and acknowledge what they have been through.”

The national general manager of both machinery brands – Case IH’s Pete McCann and New Holland’s Bruce Healy – say attention now turns towards working with customers in flood-affected regions and helping them recover and rebuild from the losses.
