Kynetec will now work with TMA in supplying monthly tractor sales data

All monthly agricultural equipment sales data had been measured and reported by Agriview and was published by both TMA and New Zealand Tractor and Machinery Association (TAMA).

This will now be conducted by Kynetec, and part of the acquisition involves a five-year deal for both TMA and TAMA to provide Kynetec with the data to continue the monthly market reports.

"The agreements we have in place with the TMA and TAMA, both of which fully represent the tractor and machinery industry for their respective countries, will enable us to provide machinery manufacturers and distributors with continuity regarding monthly industry retail sales data," Kynetec Australia senior director James Finlay says.

TMA executive director Gary Northover says the continuation and further development of the market data reports will benefit the association’s members.

"Our members rely on robust market information to enable them to make informed business decisions," he says.

"We are pleased that Kynetec has the potential to further develop the scope of market analysis and reporting across all the core sectors of the machinery market."

Agriview’s previous owner Alan Kirsten will continue as a part-time consultant with Kynetec, while all other Agriview employees will transfer to Kynetec.

Kirsten says he is excited for the future of Agritech, which has more than 30 years of history.

"Looking to the future, combining Agriview with Kynetec’s strong capabilities in delivery platforms, blending third party data sources and advanced analytics skills will take Agriview to a new level, reporting and analysing the market at national, state, regional or customised area level for both Australia and New Zealand," he says.
