Italy’s Landini tractors have returned to the Australian market after a break, appointing Inlon as the sole distributor here.
Landini specialises in vineyard, orchard and vegetable row crop tractors, high clearance tractors and utility ROPS, but also produces a range of general farm tractors with cabins and front end loaders, Inlon sales and marketing manager Gary Surman says.
“Landini has been manufacturing tractors for 132 years, so they have a solid reputation,” Surman says. “We launched the new Landini range at Inlon’s recent dealer meeting, and the overwhelming feedback was that farmers and contractors will welcome the specialism that Landini brings, especially to Australian orchards, vineyards and fruit or vegetable farms.”
Inlon first introduced the Landini range to Australia 25 years ago.
“Back then, Landini was part-owned by Massey Ferguson,” Surman says. “They also manufactured some MF tractors, which led to a change in Landini’s distribution channels.
“We are really excited to welcome Landini back home to the Inlon tractor family once more.”
There are a number of tractor models in the range: the new medium-low-power Multifarm; the all-rounder Rex F series, available in Cabin, Techno Cabin and Techno ROPs variants; the Rex GT Cabin, designed for work in small-sized, narrow-lane orchards; the environment-friendly Powerfarm HC ROPS and Cabin models; the 4 Series T4i; the simple and rugged Landforce Cab; the 5H Series with a newly designed cab; and the Powerfarm Cab Synchro-Shuttle.
“Landini has earned a reputation for strength, reliability, comfort and performance, which has seen owners come back time and again to buy more tractors,” Surman says.
“Whether it is PTO performance, 4WD balance and traction, features for specialist applications, or just its strength and reliability, Landini is a solid performer and specialist tractor supplier — 132 years says it all, really!’
