John Deere has upgraded its Select and Signature series of ride-on mowers with new decks and improved instrument displays; as well as a brand new model to complement the existing Select line-up.
Both ride-on mower lines now offer a new Accel Deep deck which gives a cleaner and faster cut.
The flat-top design deck is available in 107cm, 122cm and 137cm widths. It has been designed to enable a clean flow of material through the deck and discharge area while maintaining speed for cutting and processing incoming grass.
Lift-up spindle covers on the deck make servicing and cleaning easy and accessible.
The Accel Deep deck is also compatible with the MulchControl kit which allows operators to quickly switch between side-discharge and mulching with the flip of a lever.
All models have been updated with a new electronic instrument display. The automotive-style display is backlit for night visibility; and bright caution and stop lights will indicate an engaged PTO, disengaged park brake or incorrect start sequence.
Once on the move, a tachometer helps homeowners mow at the optimum throttle setting for the best quality cut. When servicing is required, on-board diagnostics provide trained technicians with instant insights.
John Deere has also added a new mower model – the X394 to the Select series. According to the company, the X394 is the first model from the X300 Series to offer power lift, power steer and four-wheel steering all in one.
It is powered by a 22hp Kawasaki FS engine and features a 122cm new Accel Deep deck.
In addition, John Deere has also updated the X700 Signature series with a premium electronic display that is backlit for night visibility.
Besides the 137cm and 152cm high-capacity decks, the X700 models are now also compatible with the 122 cm Accel Deep deck.
