Motion’s engineering team shipping success

A New South Wales business recently found themselves in a predicament when their shiploader bucket elevator, on the day of departure, was facing issues a little too close to the grain.

Motion’s engineering and services team, led by Mitchell Casserly, had to step in to steer the ship back on track with some quick thinking.

“These elevators play a vital role in efficiently loading vast quantities of grain onto ships for overseas distribution,” Casserly says.

Designed with efficiency in mind, grain ship loader bucket elevators are engineered to handle the large-scale movement of grain from storage facilities, such as silos or warehouses, to the cargo holds of ships.

Their robust construction allows them to withstand the rigorous demands of continuous operation and heavy loads.
