In conjunction with top farming associations eg Rural Safe,
Australian Fodder Industry Association and Cotton Australia, the
guides outline potential hazards farmers face on a daily basis
as well as highlight various safety issues around the farm such as
chemical safety, harvest safety, electrical safety etc.
Pro-Visual says information on new workplace health & safety
laws is also a main area of focus in this year’s
CottonSafe guide, outlining the responsibilities of both
employers and employees to adhere to the act and ensure the safety
of themselves and fellow workers.
The company adds recipients of the guides are given the
opportunity to enter a competition in which the best entry wins a
$5000 holiday voucher.
The guides are distributed free of charge to businesses in the
respective industries.
