Kubota Releases new M-GX Tractor Range

Kubota has released a new range of M-GX tractors that includes four models that have an engine horsepower of between 100 and 135.

The new range also includes a large variety of practical improvements, including a new larger cab and a redesigned console.

Kubota claim that the Grand X Series has the largest cab in its class, and was achieved by increasing the width by 24 centimetres and the headroom height by 17 centimetres.  Other changes include the move from a six pillar design into a four pillar style. This new design allows for larger, wide opening, glass doors.

The new cockpit adds a significant amount of functionality to the new model. The redesigned dashboard holds air conditioning vents, tilt and telescopic steering wheel as well as a new electric shuttle lever.

Kubota has also included in the right armrest a hand throttle lever, linkage controls, and powershift buttons. The throttle lever also has a dual engine rpm memory that allows you to save two engine speeds to a button.

Included on the dashboard is a central command LCD panel that monitors 26 different functions, including engine information like current engine load, fuel used per hour, hectare meter and daily performance data that is stored up to a month.

Kubota have also increased the standard hitch capacity, allowing up to 6100kg at lift point. This is due to a redesigned hydraulic system. All of the models come with two deluxe remotes that allow you to adjust the hydraulic flow.

Fuel efficiency is another key aspect of the redesign. Kubota claims that “the common rail system electronically controls the fuel injection timing and amount in stages rather than all at once for optimal combustion, greater efficiency, better fuel economy and less engine noise.”
