Commercial lawnmower specialist Ferris has introduced three new zero-turn mowers to its current line-up.
Ferris claims the new IS600Z, IS700Z and F50XT 44’’are set to offer unique features and improved performance with affordable price-tags.
Ferris Commercial Category Manager for Australia and New Zealand Robert Mellor says these new models are “the hardest working and smoothest riding commercial ZTR’s available.”
“We’ve packed the IS600Z and the IS700Z full of features to offer outstanding value. Plus we’ve expanded the range with more compact F50XT, which provides quality features you would find in a more expensive model,” he says.
The Ferris IS600Z and the Ferris IS700Z both feature patented suspension technology, a commercial grade Hydro-Gear drive system and mowing speeds of up to 16 km/h. Ferris state the idea behind these innovative designs was to improve performance and efficiency through maximum manoeuvrability and productivity.
The Ferris F50XT has been extended with a new 44’’ model. This is powered by a 27-gross hp Briggs & Stratton Profession Series engine, which gives this model improved performance, longevity and less downtime.
All new models feature a unique steering system that is said to deliver long-lasting smooth control and longevity, encapsulating the manufacturer’s initial aim of developing a mower with the operators’ needs in mind.
Each mower works with the innovative iCD Cutting System which, according to Ferris , provides better airflow, discharge and superior cut quality. The mower deck follows the movement of the wheels and the flow of terrain to result in a consistent cut in less time.
Pricing for the new mowers start from $7690 for the F50XT, $9490 for the IS600Z and $10,490 for the IS700Z. All Ferris mower models come with a 2+2 year warranty.
