QLD farm machinery dealer Midway Sales has expanded its affordable range of Asia-made tractors to include popular Korean brand, Branson.
Midway Sales Director Scott Spring-Brown says the company holds a very strong position in the lifestyle farming segment where farmers are looking for great value machines from China or Korea.
“To meet the needs of commercial users and lifestyle farmers looking for that little bit extra, we saw the opportunity to join forces with Branson tractors,” he explains.
“Korea is the home of world class products such as Samsung, LG, Hyundai and Kia; and Branson are in the same league when it comes to tractors.”

Some of Branson tractors’ world class features, according to Midway Sales, are:
- Cast iron rear end and transmission housing to provide the best ballast possible. Midway Sales says this is conventionally found in high end tractors and provide much better traction and weight lifting characteristics.
- Cummins Diesel engines manufactured by Branson for Cummins.
- True flat deck configuration to prevent stumbling when dismounting.
- Includes tilt wheel as standard equipment. It allows customised positioning of the steering wheel for optimum comfort.
- Fully synchronised transmission allowing operators to change speeds without having to stop the tractor.
- Clutch locks as standard equipment. They allow operators to lock out clutch discs, which will prevent clutch sticking if the tractor is non-operational for extended periods.
- Bonnets and guards built to last from high quality powder coated steel.
Midway Sales’ initial roll out of the Branson tractors will include the 35-45HP utility tractors in ROPS configuration with 4 in 1 buckets as standard. This will be followed up in the new year with compacts and larger cabin models.

- 5020R (47HP) with 4 in 1 loader – $27,950
- 5820R (55HP) with 4 in 1 loader – $29,950
