The brand new model made its debut at the recent Wimmera Machinery Field Days 2014 in Horsham, Victoria.

Precision agriculture and spraying specialist Southern Precision released a 12 inch model a few years ago and realised the need for narrower sprayers due to the increasing popularity in narrower row cropping.

Southern Precision Director Grant Yates says the machines are built in Australia with technology imported form the United Kingdom.

He adds the CropStalker is the first machine in Australia to feature the Teejet eletcronic nozzle tip flow monitoring system.

“Basically there’s a flow meter in every nozzle, and there’s a little interface in the cab…when the alarm comes up in the cab it will tell us exactly where it (the affected nozzle) is,” he says.
