According to JCB, the Workmax is a purpose designed work vehicle that will appeal to safety-conscious farmers.

The UTV will be on display at Tasmanian JCB dealership JF Machinery’s stand at site 123 and is expected to attract quite a lot of attention.

JF Machinery director Keith Johnstone says the Workmax is different from other UTVs on the market in that it is genuinely designed for work.

“There are no pretty mag wheels or bells and whistles. It’s a simple, robust, rugged work vehicle,” he says.

He says the safety features on the Workmax is what makes it a reliable workhorse too.

“We see a lot of tragic stories every year highlighting the safety issues with farm bikes,” Johnstone says.

“Farm vehicles like the Workmax are much safer because they have seatbelts and roll bars.”

Johnstone says the company is committed to providing strong support for the new Workmax in terms of parts supply and technical expertise, as with all other machines the company carries.

In addition to the Workmax 800D, JF Machinery’s stand will also have on display a range of other JCB products such as the 3CX backhoe loader, 53170 telehandler, a range of mini excavators and generators.

The Agfest Field Days will run from May 1 to 3. Find out more about the field days.
