The tractor range consists of three models with power ranging from 95hp to 115hp.

According to New Holland Product Manager Andrew Barrie, the main difference between the T5 Electro-Command series and other lower horsepower tractors under the New Holland brand lies with the transmission, cab and a number of other enhanced features.

“The T5 range has a 16 speed Electro Command transmission which simply means that you have push button control of your gear selection either in working mode or road mode,” he says.

The cab is also specifically designed for the T5 range, as is the engine which is an entirely new unit.

He adds the new tractors are well suited for a wide range of applications.

“There are significant new features to perfectly complement the baler operator, the council operator, the cattle farmer; there is probably not an industry within agriculture in Australia that one of these tractors cannot go into,” he says.

Barrie also reveals to NewFarmMachinery that New Holland will be releasing some more exciting new models to the Australian market by the end of 2014.
