Tractor and machinery giant Power Farming Group (PFG) Australia, this week officially unveiled not one, not two but three new lines of Deutz-Fahr tractors for the Australian market.

Over the next two weeks, it’s expected up to five hundred dealers and customers from every state in Australia will be the first to experience driving Deutz-Fahr tractors from the new 5, 6 and 7 series.

An expert team of drivers, service technicians and parts managers are on hand, taking small groups on tours of PFG Australia’s huge warehouse and distribution centre in Derrimut, just west of Melbourne.

The 110 – 127 HP 5 series comprises the 5110 C, 5120, 5130, 5130 Profiline and 5130 TTV.

It is followed by the 166 – 210 HP 6 series Agrotron range made up of the 6160 CS, 6160 Profiline, 6190 CS and the 6210 CS.

Finally the 7 series 263 HP Agrotron 7250 TTV, named machine of the year 2014, rounds out the new releases.

PFG Product Manager Ag Division Anthony Darveniza says small groups up to ten people enable guests to receive personalised attention as they make their way through five display stations.

“Each station highlights different aspects of the tractor’s features and also walking tours of the workshop and parts division,” Darveniza says.

Station one features the Deutz Agrotron 7250 TTV.

“This is where clients get to experience on board GPS and hydraulic auto steering and see how it works in a tractor,” Darveniza says.

“We also have a 210 HP Agrotron 6210 with a set of speed discs attached to highlight its linkage capabilities.

“At station two we have a 5130 TTV where we show them the principles of the Vario transmission. It’s hooked up to a power harrow to show the auto PTO and PTO functionality,” he says.

The third station demonstrates Deutz-Fahr frontend loaders.

“We have two loaders fitted up to the new 5 series; one has an easydrive or thumb tip controller and the other a mechanical controller,” Darveniza says.

“This is where we’ll test the stop and go feature in the tractors where they only have to use the brake pedal to control movement while picking up bales of silage an pallets.”

The forth area takes the groups on a parts tour through the factory to show the customers the area where PFG supplies, packs and distributes parts to our dealer network.

“Finally, at station five in our service training venue, we talk about basic maintenance on our 5, 6 and 7 series tractors and how we train our service technicians to competently diagnose and resolve any problems that may arise,” Darveniza says.

The general consensus is the new line of tractors is very impressive.

A commitment from PFG to provide information and training to the Australia-wide dealer network and the guarantee of prompt supply of service and parts was also appreciated.

“PFG has pre-ordered and has in its possession large numbers of tractors in the new ranges so can guarantee immediate delivery to customers across Australia,” confirms PFG General Manager Ag Division.

“Our commitment to you, our dealers and customers, remains our number one priority and we will continue to strive to service your needs going forward.”

Look out for the specifications coming soon.
