The company recently had its range of specialty tyres suited for the agricultural market on display at the 2014 Henty Machinery Field Days which ran from September 23 to 25.

Tyremax sales rep Paul Nagle says the current Vredestein range on offer in Australia are all designed for the European market, but it won’t be long until the Netherland-based company starts manufacturing a new product line specifically tailored to Australian conditions.

“Vredestein will be one of the movers and shakers in the Australian market over the next five to 10 years,” he says.

“Once they get their tyre line made up and ready for the Australian market, it will take it by storm.”

Nagle adds while the tyre range is on the pricier side, customers get the quality of the product that they pay for.

“Yes they are quite expensive but at the end of the day you get what you pay for, and as far as traction goes, for Vredestein’s Traction+ line, it’s second to none at the moment,” he says.

In addition to making heavy duty tyres for tractors, Vredestein also manufactures tyres for other agricultural machinery such as loader wagons and hay rakes.
