According to Mojo Motorcycles NSW and ACT area manager Bob Walters, Landboss is a fully Australian-owned UTV exclusive to the company, powered by a true and tested 800cc three-cylinder Perkins diesel engine.

“We understand diesel UTVs are the top selling models in Australia at the moment but the CF Moto brand we’ve been distributing throughout Australia since 2010 do not offer that,” Walters says.

“Diesel engines are cost effective and are capable of running for longer periods of time. Not to mention the service intervals are two to three times more than petrol motors.

“Torque and towing capacities are also higher than petrol engines,” he says.

Walters says the company searched the world for the best possible product that would suit the Australian farming community and complement the rest of Mojo’s Australian range.

“The Landboss is the best unit we can find,” Walters says.

“We believe it has the best possible specs suited to the Australian farming industry, in that it features three seats, a diesel engine, high towing capacity, and is cheap and easy to maintain.”

Walters adds the Landboss has been designed to suit a wide range of applications, not just for agricultural but the mining and government sectors.

Mojo Motorcycles recently sealed the deal with a major UTV manufacturer which has aligned itself with globally renowned names such as JCB to distribute the Landboss in Australia, just in time for the AgQuip field days.

“It’s perfect timing for us,” he says.

“We just signed the agreement to distribute Landboss and AgQuip is, we believe, the premier farming event in Australia,” Walters says.

Walters also points out the Landboss is safe and easy to operate.

“Anybody from your wife, grandfather or father can operate it easily and safely,” he says.

“It comes with seatbelts and an approved rollover protection system and it addresses the issues people have with ATVs in terms of being perceived as dangerous in the wrong hands.

“The Landboss UTV allows you to carry out your work in a much safer environment.”

Other key features of the Landboss 800D UTV include a Canadian CVTech transmission, true 4WD with front and rear differential lock, 3000 pound electric winch, a front screen and roof kit, and a carrying capacity of over 1 tonne.

Walters says the model is currently available via Mojo Motorcycles’ CF Moto ATV and UTV dealership network across Australia.

“We’ve already had some strong sales in the few weeks since the vehicle landed here and we’ve got more stock arriving in the country in the coming months.”

The 2015 AgQuip field days was held in Gunnedah, New South Wales from August 18 to 20.
