Cosmo Bully's affordable range of mulchers and rotary hoes (pictured) as well as power harrow is now available in Australia.

Cosmo Srl mainly specialises in fertiliser spreaders but now offers a range of affordable tractor implements for cultivation and mulching purposes.

The Cosmo Bully range in Australia will initially consist of three rotary hoe models – the UH, UM and UH; two flail mulcher models – the manual shift and hydraulic shift; as well as one power harrow model – the SRP.

Cosmo Bully’s rotary hoes feature a gear driven side transmission and are fitted with six blades per flange. They also feature CE safety guards and integral slip clutch PTO shafts.

The range starts with the 90cm UL series (20-45hp) priced at $2,000, and offers models and sizes right through to the 210cm UH series (50-75hp) priced at $5,000.

The flail mulchers features a mid-height body and come standard with hammers, rear roller, rear mulching rakes, CE safety guards, adjustable skids and gearbox which carries a built-in wheel.

The FMm manual shift model has a 30 – 60hp rating and starts at $3,600 while the FMh hydraulic model is rated at 40-70hp and is priced from $4,000.

The distributor says the Cosmo Bully mulcher range is price-comparable to slashers but offers better benefits compared to those of its "rougher cousins".

The mulchers are able to produce smaller particles of cut material that break down faster. The material acts as a weed barrier while adding a layer of mulch to the ground surface to reduce evaporation, encourage new growth and improve the soil’s biological quality over time.

Last but not least, the Cosmo Bully power harrow model is rated at 60-90hp and is available in widths of 150cm, 175cm and 200cm. They are priced at $5,500, $6,000 and $7,000 respectively.

All units have a maximum working depth of 28cm and come standard with CE safety guards, adjustable rear levelling bar, multi-speed gearbox and integral slip clutch PTO shafts. Optional packer or cage rollers are available from $750.

The Cosmo Bully range made its debut at the recent Elmore and Wandin-Silvan field days in Victoria where plenty of enquiries and sales for the range were recorded.
