Brevi launches largest rotary hoe in Australia

Italian cultivating equipment brand Breviglieri has debuted its largest working width rotary hoe, the Doble 630 in Australia and the world at a demo on a corn farm in Queensland.

Breviglieri, with the help of its Australian distributor Silvan Australia took the 6.3m wide rotary hoe model to demonstrate on commercial corn grower Trandos Farms’ property in Gin Gin.

A Case IH 335hp tractor was used for the demo.

Trandos Farms’ principal Arthur Trandos was so impressed with the new Breviglieri Doble 630 he snapped up the model immediately after the demonstration.

The Breviglieri Doble 630 is fitted with rear floating doors for an even finish.

With two hydraulic folding wings, the Doble 630 can be folded down to 2.5m for road transportation purposes between farms or paddocks.

Silvan Australia Perth-based account manager Nick Dicembre, who helped coordinate the demonstration, says the Breviglieri Doble 630 is fitted with an offset disc on each end of the machine.

The discs serve to move the soil at each edge under the hoe from where it is distributed.

Breviglieri’s rotary hoes and cultivation equipment with working widths of 0.85m to 6.3m are available through Silvan Australia.
