Silvan Australia has added a new linkage sprayer to its range of spray equipment for pasture, row crop and contractor use.
The new sprayers are structured around a heavy-duty hot-dip-galvanised steel frame with Category II and III linkage compliance and are available with a choice of 1600 or 1900 litre capacity Polytuff spray tanks.
Each version of the sprayer is equipped with a 150-litre water flush tank and a 10-litre-capacity operator hand wash tank.
“Silvan has taken account of farmer and contractor feedback to offer litre capacity versions that will service the need for pasture applications, specialist row crop management and spraying contractor needs,” Silvan product manager Gavin Wheatcroft says.
“We have designed our new 1600 or 1900 litre Silvan Linkage Sprayers so that all functions can be performed from ground level without the sprayer operator ever needing to climb on to the sprayer.”
Another key feature is the 30-litre-capacity Silmix chemical hopper, along with three section electric in-cab controls with a pressure adjustment feature.
The BP125/20 oil backed diaphragm pump is rated at 121 litres per minute capacity at 20 bar.
Typical boom choices include the popular hydraulic fold Devil boom with independent left or right section folding and hydraulic lift for optimal boom height control, depending on ground profile or crop conditions.
