The Mahindra mForce 100P tractor, which is designed to be more powerful and efficient than previous Mahindra compact tractor models, is now available in Australia.
Its Perkins 100hp engine combines with a 32×32 power shift transmission to give the mForce a maximum speed of 40 kmh, and according to Mahindra, the power and speed to cope with any terrain.
Mahindra Ag & Auto Australia national agriculture sales manager Satish Chandra says its latest 100hp tractor offering, which will be unveiled to the public at Elmore Field Days in October, is likely to earn itself a few fans.
“We’re excited to be entering the high volume commercial segment of the Australian market,” Chandra says.
“The 100P has been on sale in the US and New Zealand, with great success in those markets and it’s great to see it launching to our Australian customers.”
It has a ‘turn up and back up’ feature that, by raising rear implements automatically, helps the driver to manage headland turns and reversing situations more easily.
It also features a self-levelling loader with four-in-one bucket. A quick-hitch design makes switching from buckets to pallet forks and other attachments quick and easy, with just two pins and four hydraulic couplers.
The electronic lift controls are located on the rear fender, with raise and lower buttons for linkage and three-speed PTO, which can be controlled from the cabin.
The Mahindra mForce 100P tractor is available via Mahindra’s 44 Agricultural dealers throughout Australia.
