As a result of Kubota’s purchase of agricultural implement manufacturer Kverneland in 2012 it can now offer a whole new Kubota-coloured lineup of cultivation, seeding and fertilising implements in Australia.

Kubota also used the Agritechnica-style launch held at Olympic park in Sydney in mid-September to launch new models of skid-steer, wheel and compact track loaders loaders, zero-turn mowers and petrol and diesel generators.

Also viewed for the first time was the Kubota RTV-X 1140, a side-by-side UTV that can be converted from a two-seater to a four-seater in under a minute.

Among other products in the new lineup are:

  • The RM2000 and RM3000 series reversible linkage mounted ploughs.
  • The CD 2500T high-speed compact disc cultivator with SH 500 seeding unit.
  • The CU 2000 and CU 3000 Tine cultivators with working widths from 2.5m to 4m.
  • Rigid and folding power harrows.
  • An extensive range of pneumatic seed drills and vegetable precision drills.
  • The VS pendulum fertiliser spreaders, which deliver fertiliser through a directional spout rather than a spinner. The side-to-side motion of the spout ensures fertiliser is spread left and right and not to the front.

Kubota dealers told TradeFarmMachinery.com.au that the demand for lightweight construction equipment is a fast-growing market in the agricultural industry so they were pleased to see the new RO65 wheel loader, SSV65 and SSV75 skid-steer loaders and SVL95-2S compact track loader make their debut at the event.

In separate presentations both Krone/Kubota senior product manager Lars Pasedag and Kverneland area director Marieke Maris said they were happy that Kubota could now offer a broad range of agricultural implements as a result of the Kverneland group purchase.

Pasedag said that the move meant Kubota dealers were now able to package up the perfect tractor and implement combination that best suited their requirements.

All the products launched are available immediately.
