Based on Trufab’s recent Grain King models, the Truchaser is an Australian-made chaser bin sold at a realistic price for producers and set to be distributed exclusively though McIntosh & Son’s nine Oz branches.

Built in Cunderdin, Western Australia, the Truchaser provides a cost-effective, reliable and easy-to-operate solution for grain handling, McIntosh says.

The Truchaser chaser bins are available in 18, 25 and 30-tonne options with either a single axle or with leaf-suspension tandem steerable axles.

The single-axle units have a total width under 3.5m, removing requirements for road escorts, while the tandem-axle units are ideal for controlled traffic operations with its 3m wheel centre.

The Truchaser has a discharge rate of up to 10 tonne per minute thanks to its 18-inch diameter discharge auger.

Anthony Ryan, the dealer principal for McIntosh & Son’s Wongan Hills, Moora and Merredin branches, says the 3m centres and steerable axles with suspension on the tandem chaser bins are a particularly strong feature.

"That’s pretty good to have on tandem units," Ryan says. "It’s a high-spec undercarriage for an affordable price."

Other features on the Truchaser include full-length floor doors for quick and easy bin clean-outs, a heavy duty roll tarp, a high right-hand side and a 12-month warranty.

McIntosh & Sons was established in 1955 has nine branches in Western Australia and Queensland.

Trufab is the Western Australian engineering company behind the Grain King field bin and has been making chaser bins since 1982.

The Truchaser chaser bins will be on display at the upcoming Mingenew, Dowerin and Newdegate field days in WA which you can find on our 2017 field days calendar.

The McIntosh & Son Truchaser chaser bins will start at $63,800 (including GST).
